You’ve come to the right place …

… if you’re looking for a professional, recognisable public face who can take the strain out of your event and keep it bang on time.

As a BBC journalist I’ve chaired live televised debates with politicians during election campaigns.  My continuing experience presenting live TV from the field, as well as from the studio, means you won’t need to worry if it’s not quite all right behind the scenes.   In my private capacity as a business skills trainer I have hosted seminars on topics as complex as GDPR and Public Sector Procurement — but my training as a journalist means I’m a jargon buster.

I also understand the moving parts behind a public event, having been Producer of the BBC South East Sports Awards.

My range of journalism — cheerful features as well as hard news — means I’ve got a sense of humour, too.  And that’s good news for your guests.  You want them to enjoy your event, after all.

I set aside ten percent of my fee to help me offer Employability Skills workshops to Pupil Premium students in the state sector.

Try me for free — by signing up to my Newsroom Secrets!  Every month or so I reveal a secret based on my many years in a BBC newsroom — to help you and your teams with your own deadlines and on-the-day delivery, or simply give you ideas about how to bring training, a conference or Away Day to life.  Do take a look, or sign up, here.

Blogs don’t have to be long or boring — I reckon six snappy paragraphs does the job, and gives you something you will actually remember.
